This glacial tongue of Eyjafjallajökull drops almost vertically into the chiaroscuro of the summit fog. The surface area of ​​Iceland's glaciers is constantly shrinking. The smallest, Okjökull, disappeared in August 2019: a ceremony in its memory was held to raise awareness of the consequences of climate change.
