Urta Salts

Urta Islandica is a family business that crafts herbal salts, teas, syrups, and jams from the bounty of Icelandic nature. The herbs and berries are harvested by hand, and the recipes draw on tradition while still allowing for innovation.

A base of organic Icelandic sea salt (mostly from a saltworks in the northwest fjords) is then infused or blended with Icelandic herbs and berries.

The fifteen recipes, ranging from deep black "black lava" to "red lava" (red lava), including berry and rhubarb variations, adapt to all circumstances, savory but also sweet, with rhubarb, angelica or liquorice versions enhancing your cocktails and desserts.

All these products are handmade and packaged and are, so far, only available in Iceland.

The Island Gallery is the continent's first permanent retail outlet, so come and excite your taste buds!

The salts are packaged in 85g sachets.
