Ylja // Commotion

Since meeting in a Reykjavik choir, Guðný Gígja Skjaldardóttir and Bjartey Sveinsdóttir have been blending their voices for this folk duo that doesn't hold back from exploring more adventurous territory.

After a very "traditional" first album, Ylja signed with Commotion tracks with hints of Cocorosie, less experimental, or First Aid Kit, more anchored in the sounds of the very rich Icelandic repertoire.
