Mammút 's debut album is also the only one sung in Icelandic. Already very rock, the nine tracks also feature the powerful voice of the charismatic singer Kata (Katrína Kata Mogensen), with Björk -esque inflections on Ströndin and Blond Red Head -esque inflections on Blóðberg.

In the middle of the album, the very psychedelic Salt and Glæður are hypnotic like Doors tracks, while the closing Tungan borrows from industrial rock.

Of very high quality until the last album released in 2020, Mammút 's discography found its most singular expression there, without a single weak track.
