Lupina // ringluð

Ringluð is the first self-produced album by Lúpína , a young Icelandic musician living in Oslo. If we had to find a reference to her work, it would be the electro vein of the tireless seeker Björk , or the brilliant tinkering of Ólöf Arnalds , a vein that Lúpína mixes with choirs ( tveir mismunandi heimar ), crystalline melodies ( við tvö ) and acoustic guitar ( aftur eitt ). There is even a bossa nova mischievously titled "Lúpína's bossa nova".

Contrary to its title ( ringluð = confused), this first album denotes a very sure and very rich talent. It's up to you to discover it before everyone else!
