Helga Mogensen // Miniature chairs made of driftwood and metal

By combining driftwood collected on Icelandic beaches with recycled metal, Helga also creates small, graceful chairs, which form a family full of poetry.

A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland, Helga R. Mogensen collects driftwood from the northern shores of Iceland, where she has ties, and assembles it into boxes and frames for old maps.

All of his pieces are handmade and unique.
