A duo formed by Ágústa Eva Erlendsdottir and Gunni Hilmarsson in Reykjavik in 2016, Sycamore Tree composes graceful and crystalline folk pop, with southern American accents ( Picking Fights and Pulling Guns in duet with Arnar Gudjonsson ) where sometimes an echo of Lana Del Rey ( Fire ) appears. With a few guitar notes and an airy melody, One day - on the aptly named album Winter's Songs - transports you to the fireside, wrapped in a blanket. The art of "less is more".
