John Grant

Born in Michigan (as indicated by his 2021 album, Boy From Michigan ), John Grant has lived in Iceland for about fifteen years, which motivates his presence in this selection.

A founding member of The Czars (1994-2004), collaborator of Midlake, he sang with Tracey Thorn (Everything But the Girl), Alison Goldfrapp (Goldfrapp) , and even... Kylie Minogue.

He continued his taste for collaborations once settled in Reykjavík and worked in particular with Biggi Veira ( Gus Gus ) and Ásgeir Trausti ( Á sgeir ).
