Collection: Asa Runars

While sheep are indeed omnipresent in the Icelandic landscape, they have also gained, along with puffins and the Northern Lights, the status of stars of the derivative products offered to tourists.

My reluctance to fall into this commonplace melted away in the face of Ása's watercolors, their humor and the power of their colors.

Ása is also a gallery owner in Reykjavik.
